Barefoot shoes are minimalist shoes that give an experience close to walking barefoot with feet still protected from cold and injury. Walking in barefoot shoes strengthens muscles, let your child’s feet receive sensory feedback from the ground and provides free movement of the growing feet. Barefoot shoes are the most comfortable shoes your child has ever worn.

Main features: D.D.Step winter boots (063) are made of leather. The leather is water-repellent and breathable. The inner lining is 30% warm natural wool. A thin and flexible rubber sole providing lightweight and natural movement of the foot. Shoes have higher leg part and velcro straps that makes it easy to put them on and adjust. The boots have removable insoles and about 3mm foam padding under the heel. The padding flattens under the child’s weight and the elevation becomes minimal during prolonged wear. The color is more dark grey than in the picture.

Where to wear: D.D.Step boots are a great option for colder temperatures during the winter season. For extra warmth, original insoles can be replaced with warm insoles.

Fit: These barefoot boots are a good fit for feet of medium width and a bit wider with a medium and high instep.
